The Importance of Information
In today's world of 50,000+ acre wildfires, firefighters from across the country arrive to aid in battling fires but are often not given maps. Even local first responders don't have complete or accurate information about what assets a property has that can be utilized to fight wildland fire.
For firefighters, knowing what's available is important in facilitating an effective response and attack especially in times of crisis. With this sign, you can communicate with them that you have prepared by hardening your home, creating defensible space and that you have assets that can be valuable in their battle.
